Many thanks to designeast.eu for drawing our attention to this wonderful adaptation of a typical modular seating system.
Created by Polish designer Tomek Rygalik, Termo is in essence a series of outer shells into which one places seating or table units.
The outer shells come in 1, 2 or 3 “seater” options and can be fixed to the ground.
The clear primary use for such a product is in public seating systems where you may need to regularly change combinations and/or colour schemes.
Although it is also useful in the home or an office waiting room environment.
We’re very taken by both its wonderful simplicity and playful Panton-esque form.
Termo by Tomek Rygalik is available through Polish producer Noti.
