Lean Mirror by Alex Bradley

As we may have commented once or twice , we’re not the tidiest of people and there are corners in the (smow)blog flat where one assumes a national emergency should be declared complete with a visit from a deeply upset head of state.

One such area is the bedroom where the odd item of  “worn but not yet for washing” clothing can be found, idly around.

And so we are indebted to London based designer Alex Bradley for his Lean Mirror, and to MoCo Loco for drawing our attention to it.

In essence Lean Mirror is a full length mirror which one leans against a wall.
So far so predictable.

However, Alex  has enriched the simple construct through the addition of 4 slits which can be used to hang clothes, belts, ties etc… and so negate the requirement to leave your work trousers on the floor when you switch to evening casual.

It is all so very simple. And yet so very, very good.

We think we might cry.

Lean Mirror by Alex Bradley can be viewed on Stand J96 at the 2009 100% Design London at Earls Court from 24-27th September.
